Recently, China Sand and Gravel Association held a review meeting on "Research on the application technology of philippines natural river sand in modern concrete" in Huzhou, China.

The participating experts listened to the report of the research group and reviewed the research report. After careful questioning and discussion, the "Research on the application technology of philippines natural river sand in modern concrete" passed the review and formed the following review opinions:

I. The data submitted by the project team is complete, the research plan is scientific and reasonable, the experimental data is full and reliable, the conclusion analysis is correct, and meets the review requirements.

2. The natural river sand in The Philippines is medium sand in zone Ⅱ, and its grading meets the requirements of class Ⅰ sand, and its indexes meet the requirements of GB/T14684 "Sand for Construction".

3. The natural river sand in The Philippines contains a small amount of natural light sand, which is different from the light material in GB/T14684 "Sand for Construction". A lot of tests and studies by the project team show that it has no adverse effect on the performance of concrete.

4. The working performance, mechanical properties, long-term performance and durability of C30~C60 concrete made from natural river sand in The Philippines are basically the same as those made from natural river sand in Beijing.

5. The review group recommends that natural river sand from the Philippines be promoted and used in coastal areas of China as soon as possible.
